nature
Ecosystem.
A privileged location
Very close to the sea, with your back to Goas Treiz beach and 1km from Toeno beach, the Quellen marshes offer a reserve of freshwater and a variety of habitats conducive to the development of flora and wildlife.
A protected ecosystem
The many plants – sometimes rare – attract a host of insects, from the simple bee to the most beautiful dragonflies to magnificent butterflies. The ponds are home to frogs which compete the birdsong with their croaks. You may also come across Camargue horses, used for the eco-management of this natural site.
Still or moving
A path has been laid out to facilitate walking between the wetlands, but an observatory has also been built for discreet bird watching. A great place to meditate and stretch your legs!
